Discover the family food forest and products
Our brand has been named after the location of our traditional Sicilian family farm.
We are located in the territory of Giarre-Riposto on the east coast of Sicily. At the foot of Mount Etna the tallest active volcano in Europe. Thanks to Mount Etna and its unique soil and micro-climate this area has always been particularly fertile, historically famous for grapes and wine in 1800, lemons and citrus in general in 1900, potatoes and in the last 30 years with the climate shift a number of subtropical varieties such as avocado, mango, custard apple, etc. We are able to grow a large variety of plants and trees, over 100 edible today. Ranging from the most famous Sicilian varieties (lemon, blood orange and avocado) to Mediterranean and edible herbs.

After many years of patient preparation we can now finally show you the beauty of our multi-variety food forest through a comprehensive tour with abundant fruit and product tasting to glimpse the Sicilian way of living off the land.

Stay over for lunch! Chill out, have a glass of wile and enjoy a meal with a selection of traditional farmer dishes and ingredients coming directly from our farm network.

2. Cooking class
Learn to cook like a Sicilian!
Everyone loves Sicilian food. What is better than cooking with a Sicilian family in a farm, getting some fresh products for a farm-to-table lunch. We design a cooking experience based on Sicilian lemons which lets you enjoy a traditional Sicilian meal and understand the essence of Sicilian living.
3. Become a farmer for a day
A chance to be a farmer in our food forest!
Have you ever imagined what a farmer does in a day? Take part in our seasonal activities and prepare a few farmer’s dishes with our family. Spend an authentic and unique day in our food forest. Forget about your stress and get immersed in the nature.
4. Orange tasting
(Seasonal Feb-Apr)
How many types of oranges have you ever tried? 1, 2 or 3? Our food forest offers 10 varieties of orange waiting for you to discover. If you are an orange lover, you can’t miss this chance. Come in winter to learn all about different flavours of Sicilian oranges and feel the sunshine the oranges give you!
5. Special tasting
An experience focused on specific type of products such as honey, wine and olive oil which will provide you with a glance of the huge edible landscape Sicily offers.
With our connections we zoom out to other locations in Sicily and make a selection of the best and most interesting products.
6. Basic accommodation
Single/double up to 4 beds room
Stay in apartment at the nearest village 5 minutes on foot from the train station with access to the sea (15 minutes walk).
