The farm itself was like a vibrant tapestry of colors and scents, a true fruit wonderland where olive trees, lemon groves, apricots, oranges, mulberries, and more mingled in perfect harmony. It’s not just beautiful; it embraces biodiversity, creating a lively and sustainable environment that felt like discovering a natural treasure trove.
Jennifer’s knowledge about each crop was impressive. I never could have imagined that even for oranges, there could be so many different species. I always thought orange was just orange! Her passion for organic farming and biodiversity shone through in every story and explanation.
Lunch was a highlight of our day. We savored a delicious spread showcasing the farm’s bounty. Fresh salads, lemon-infused meatballs, refreshing granita, and heavenly cannoli – each bite reflected the love and care put into the farm’s produce.
But the fun didn’t stop there! We dived into a food-tasting session, enjoying various jams & marmalades, sun-dried tomatoes olive oil. It was a culinary adventure, and we left with bags full of goodies to savor at home.
Overall, this farm is a true gem. Whether you’re a food enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking a relaxing day out, Jennifer and Guido’s farm has something special for everyone. We can’t wait to go return!
